Hans Stuck (1900-1978)-karikatuur
Hans Stuck became a professional racing driver in 1927 for Austro-Daimler. He excelled in hill climbs and from 1934 he drove for Auto Union with great success. After the Second World War he remained active as a driver and in 1960 he was still German hill climb champion with a BMW 700 RS. This series of caricatures was created by Frederick Gordon Crosby in 1935. The drivers depicted were famous at the time among British motor racing enthusiasts, especially for their performances on the Brooklands banked circuit and at major events on the continent.
