Lindsay Eccles (1908-1991)-karikatuur

Lindsay was the younger brother of the famous racing driver Roy Eccles and brother in law of the female racing driver Marjorie Eccles. Lindsay took part in the Donington Grand Prix in 1935 and finished 6th. This series of caricatures was created by Frederick Gordon Crosby in 1935. The drivers depicted were famous among British motorsport enthusiasts at the time, especially for their performances on the Brooklands banked track and at major events on the continent.
