Magnat Debon

Magnat Debon

Lithograph on paper A poster by an unknown artist in which a lone traveler races down a road on his Magnat-Debon motorcycle. The speed of his motorcycle is emphasized by the simple lines and colors that sketch the landscape; the motorcycle is going so fast that the surroundings have become invisible. Magnat-Debon (later known as Grenoble and Dijon) was a historic French brand of motorcycles and scooters (1902–1958). The founders, Joseph Magnat and Louis Debon, built the first motorcycles with a De Dion-Bouton engine. Imprimeries Reunies, Lyon
