Oliver Bertram (1919-1975)-karikatuur

Oliver Bertram began his racing career in 1929 and became a true Brooklands specialist. He was known for his record attempts with the enormous Barnato-Hassan Special. In August 1935 he broke the record on the Brooklands outer circuit. This series of caricatures was created by Frederick Gordon Crosby in 1935. The drivers depicted were famous among British motor racing enthusiasts at the time, especially for their performances on the Brooklands banked track and at major events on the continent.
