As steam and dust swirl around to form the brand name Peugeot. Peugeot is a French automobile brand, originally a family business that was established in 1810 with a steel foundry. Armand Peugeot (1849 - 1915) built the company’s first vehicle, a steam-powered tricycle and in 1890 the company developed an automobile with a Panhard-Daimler internal combustion engine.
