
Spyker-Auto's
Lithograph on paper Pieter 'Piet' van der Hem was a Dutch painter, draftsman and book cover designer. Van der Hem belonged to the group of 'moderns' and found his subjects in the fashionable nightlife of Paris, Rome, Madrid and Moscow. He also worked as an illustrator and political cartoonist for De Haagsche Post and De Haagsche Courant. Spyker Autos is a Dutch manufacturer of exclusive, hand built sports cars, founded in 1880 by two brothers, Hendrik Jan and Jacobus Spyker, both blacksmiths. The original Spyker Autos ceased to exist in 1925 but made a comeback in 2000. Printing house Senefelder Amsterdam
