On 6 September 2015, a Concours d'Elegance was held for the second time on the Chantilly estate, just north of Paris. The beautifully landscaped baroque garden provided the ideal setting in which the cars could truly shine.

The Louwman Museum was represented there with the Mercedes-Benz 500K Spezial Roadster from 1936 and the Bugatti Type 18 'Black Bess' from 1910. A jury of car experts from various countries examined all the beauties and selected the finest cars in each class. Black Bess received the jury prize in the class Tribute to Bugatti – the Racing Cars, and the Mercedes-Benz 500K Spezial Roadster took first place in the class Mercedes 1924 to 1942. In addition, this former 'Butchers Car' was chosen as the most beautiful of the entire event and thus won the “Best of Show” trophy.

In addition to all this splendor, plenty of space on the estate was set aside for the many participating car clubs from both home and abroad.
