Louwman Museum officially Kidsproof 2024!

The Louwman Museum has officially been named a Kidsproof museum 2024! Becoming a Kidsproof museum does not happen just like that. It means that a jury of extremely critical kid inspectors has visited and rated the museum with at least an 8.0.

The Louwman Museum has been named a Kidsproof museum 2024 by the Museum Association. This quality mark is not new to us, but of course we are very happy that we have once again won an award. Only 77 museums in the Netherlands have received this seal of quality. To us it feels a bit like we have received a Michelin star!

Kidsproof is created by and for children. They must give the museum a high rating, and the NET promoter score – a tool that measures how likely children are to recommend the museum to other children – has to be very high. The Louwman Museum meets these criteria and receives glowing reviews. Children especially thought the cars in the museum were really cool, and the treasure hunt is also very popular. Museum visits by children are increasing sharply; last year, more than 9,000 children up to 12 years old submitted over 15,000 museum reviews.

The Louwman Museum takes being chosen as a Kidsproof museum very seriously. In the coming year we will once again do everything we can to surprise and inspire children every single day. We will do this with special exhibitions, new collections and of course fun activities!
