Retromobile and the thousand and one cars of the Maharajas

In India in the 1920s and 1930s, the cars of the Maharajas were extremely extravagant: fantastic shapes, extreme accessories, and flamboyant colors. To stand out, the Indian princes seized every opportunity to be the most original.

For the first time in Europe, 15 of these Maharaja car jewels will be on display at Retromobile in Paris, from 5 to 9 February.

As part of this fascinating collection of cars, the Brooke Swan Car, the Cygnet and the Rolls-Royce Phantom Barker Torpedo Tourer from the Louwman Museum will be on display.
