Accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility

Accessibility for people with disabilities at the Louwman Museum

The Louwman Museum is accessible to everyone: young and old, wheelchair users and non-wheelchair users. Are you travelling by public transport? Please note that the distance from the Louwman Museum bus stop to the museum entrance is approximately 300 metres. The route includes a few small thresholds. There is no seating available at the bus stop. Do you have any questions about your visit? Please contact us.

Facilities

  • Parking spaces in front of the main entrance
  • All floors are accessible by lift
  • Accessible toilets
  • Very few thresholds
  • Wheelchairs available to borrow at reception (please reserve in advance)

Assistance

Are you unable to visit the museum independently? You may bring one companion free of charge. Please report to the ticket desk in the museum. Because we cannot always assess whether someone can visit the museum independently, we may ask for a (public transport) companion card, Autipas or a statement from your (family) doctor indicating that assistance is required.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum.
