The Louwman Museum is more than a collection of remarkable automobiles; it is a place where the history of mobility comes to life. To not only showcase this valuable heritage, but also protect it for the future, we work closely with partners who are committed to preserving historic vehicles. Together with these organizations, we are dedicated to keeping history on the road, both in the Netherlands and far beyond.

FEHAC

The Federation of Historic Automobile and Motorcycle Clubs (FEHAC) represents the interests of owners of historic road vehicles. Primarily in the Netherlands, and internationally as well in cooperation with FIVA. FEHAC has 233 Dutch associations and foundations as members. Together they represent more than 56,000 owners of historic road vehicles. These are not only passenger cars, but also two-wheelers, buses, commercial vehicles, trailers, carts, carriages and mobile machinery such as tractors.

FIVA

FIVA is a non profit organization that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016, FIVA is active in 64 countries and represents more than 1.5 million car enthusiasts worldwide. FIVAs mission is to protect, preserve and promote the worlds motoring heritage. To protect the technical, design, cultural and sociological aspects of automotive history from destruction, loss or oblivion. To preserve and document for future generations the origins, history and impact of those great and small achievements that so strongly shaped the course of the 20th century. At all levels of international and national society, to promote the unique significance and value of our motoring heritage and the inherent use of historic vehicles on public roads. The protection, preservation and promotion of the worlds motoring heritage can only be achieved if all stakeholders unite and work together. That is why FIVA welcomes all stakeholders and professionals who are committed to the same goals. FIVA is an official partner of UNESCO.
