Grandmas apple pie with freshly brewed coffee, a delicious seasonal salad or bitterballen with your drink. The restaurant on the Museumplein serves artisanal food and drinks at any moment during your visit. There on the lively Museumplein you will feel as if you are back in the 1920s. The original facades mostly come from buildings that were originally from The Hague.

An exclusive caterer

Our caterer brings back the traditional craftsmanship of the past in todays dishes and service. We also stand for sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneurship. In doing so, they use fair products as much as possible. Curious? Take a look at the lunch menu.

Bringing drinks or food into the museum is not allowed. Refreshments are available in the restaurant; these may not be taken into the exhibition areas.

Restaurant opening hours

From Tuesday to Sunday, the restaurant is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Allergy or special diet? Please let us know. We are happy to tell you about our alternatives.
