Alpha B.R.C.

Philippe Chapellier was a French Impressionist, modern artist, caricaturist and illustrator. He was known for his artistic advertising posters for department stores, automobiles and motorcycles/bicycles. Chapellier often paid great attention to feminine beauty. In 1900 he opened his own lithography studio. The poster for Alpha B.R.C. headlamps showcases a half-naked beauty seated on the bonnet of an automobile as she directs the award winning headlamp of the automobile onto the road ahead.
