“Does your Motor know you’re Out?”

“Does your Motor know you’re Out?”

A rather motherly figure is addressing a gentleman lying on the ground entangled in the wheel of his somewhat damaged automobile. We can just imagine that the young man was driving too fast, lost control of his steering wheel and ended up on the side of a country road. His automobile seems beyond repair and the lady seems to be ascertaining whether the young man is unharmed. The caption below the picture eloquently captures the moment when she asks “Does your Motor know you’re Out?”. Which in turn is a play on words of “Does your Mother know you’re Out?”. Both Motor and Mother would obviously not be amused that the young man has been so careless and that his automobile is paying the price for his carelessness.
