Lithograph on paper Pierre Delarue Nouvelliere was a French architect, painter, illustrator and photographer. He worked at the Dunlop Gazette as Artistic Director and created many illustrations for the magazine Automobilia. Delarue Nouvelliere was also a railway expert; he often wrote and illustrated articles for La Vie du Rail. With his painting Save the Railway he was featured in 1929 at the Salon des Humoristes. Here we see a rare technical depiction of a car tire on a rim, a spoked wheel, a wheel hub, a brake cylinder and suspension rods of a Dunlop tire. The focus is clearly on the Dunlop tire, but it is evident how satisfied the driver of the automobile is with his Dunlop tires. Limited edition of 250 prints (all unnumbered). Printer J. Herbert & Cie, 85 Rue Belliard, Paris (18th)
