The Tourist Trophy Race 1908

The 1908 RAC Tourist Trophy Race was held on the Isle of Man. During the race a heated battle developed between the Darracq of Arthur George, the Darracq of Algie Guinness and the Hutton of William Watson. On the final lap a fuel line broke in Georges Darracq and the car suddenly caught fire. Watsons Hutton became the unexpected winner, followed by Guinnesss Darracq.
