Benz 6-hp Ideal

Benz 6-hp Ideal

The hood is fake and the cooling fins that have been added to it are completely unnecessary. After all, the engine is in the back.

Under the hood is the fuel tank. It is a modest attempt by the conservative minded Karl Benz to make a concession to modern times, but in fact he still does not really want to change very much about the model, which by now dates from the early nineteen nineties. One example of this is that he continues to insist on candle lighting. Technically, a few things have changed. The belt drive now has four forward gears and one reverse, and the crankshaft is now housed in a casing. The car is equipped with a mountain support. The Benz is initially successful, but despite the technical improvements, sales quickly fall back because the model is very outdated.
