Brunel Solar Team presents Nuna 13
June 10, 2025
At the Louwman Museum in The Hague, the Brunel Solar Team unveiled its latest solar car: the Nuna 13. A fitting location, because amid one and a half centuries of automotive history, the future of sustainable mobility came to life here.
The solar car, built by students from TU Delft, marks the team’s 25th anniversary and introduces several innovations: an extendable fin for extra speed, a lighter chassis and an ironless motor. Later this year, the team will travel to Australia to take part in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge – a 3,000-kilometer race straight through the outback.
The Louwman Museum looks back with pride on an inspiring evening where the past, present and future of mobility came together. From the first electric cars to the solar car of tomorrow, innovation has been alive here for 150 years.
