Digitalization Day 2026
18 September 2026
From AI and cybersecurity to healthcare innovation, energy, and digital autonomy, the Louwman Museum was entirely dedicated to the Netherlands’ digital future on Friday, September 18. More than 350 professionals from business, academia, and government came together for the second edition of Digitalization Day.
After the reception in the Great Hall, the guests spread out across the museum. Various sessions and discussions took place in the Library, Shoichiro Toyoda, Walter Owen Bentley, Jacobus Spijker, and Henry Ford rooms. Topics ranged from cybersecurity in the energy sector and AI in healthcare to digital autonomy and new technology within the Ministry of Defence.
Everyone gathered in the Theater for the plenary program. Among the speakers were State Secretary Willemijn Aerdts, Professor of Cybersecurity Governance Bibi van den Berg, and State Secretary for Defence Derk Boswijk, who shared their views on digitalization, security, and innovation.
The day ended where it began, with drinks in the Great Hall. A fitting conclusion to an afternoon filled with insightful discussions, meaningful connections, and fresh ideas.
Thanks to Digital Holland and NLdigital for their trust, and to all the guests and speakers for joining us.
