Our collection has gained a true gem: we have uncovered a rare lithograph by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the famous artist of Parisian nightlife.

L'Automobiliste (1898) is the only known work by Toulouse-Lautrec in which an automobile takes center stage. It shows his cousin – and nighttime companion on outings – behind the wheel of an early car. Worldwide, only seven copies of this lithograph are still known to exist.
