Museum Square

A lively square full of character, where history and atmosphere come together in one place.

300 persons

360 m2

The Museumplein is an atmospheric space that immediately stands out thanks to its high ceiling and the surrounding historic shops with their distinctive facades. The layout evokes a lively streetscape, making guests feel as if they are in the middle of a unique setting rather than in a traditional hall.

During the day, the Museumplein is used as a restaurant. In this setting there is room for business groups of up to 60 people, for example for a lunch, reception or informal get together between program elements. The combination of light, space and the unique decor creates a relaxed and accessible atmosphere. After closing time, the Museumplein transforms into an exclusive event venue. The space is then fully available and suitable for groups of up to 300 people. The open layout offers many possibilities for different setups, from a reception to an extensive dinner or a festive evening. The look and feel of the square, with sightlines along the facades and the connection to the rest of the museum, makes it a place where guests enjoy coming together. A space that has its own character both during the day and in the evening, and effortlessly adapts to the type of event.
