Lithograph on paper The Italian illustrator Marcello Dudovich is regarded as one of the founders of Italian poster design. He was self taught and designed posters for, among others, Pirelli tires, Bugatti and Fiat Balilla. With a background in theater and experience in set and costume design, many of Dudovichs works served to promote film and theater productions. Dudovich combined rich colors, modern graphics and Art Nouveau, thereby creating a completely distinctive style. His advertising messages were elegant, persuasive and cinematic. Printer G.
