Fine Art On Wheels officially opens!
The spectacular Fine Art on Wheels exhibition opens today at the Louwman Museum. Eight unique art cars, painted by world-famous artists such as Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Alexander Calder and Jeff Koons, are on exclusive display in The Hague this summer.
The so-called BMW Art Cars — true racing machines transformed into works of art — unite an iconic combination of speed and creativity. They pay tribute not only to automotive history, but also to leading art movements such as Pop Art, Conceptual Art, and Kinetic Art.
As featured on today’s front page of De Telegraaf, this exhibition has everything it takes to surprise and captivate visitors. Usually we might call such bold headlines over the top, but this time we wholeheartedly agree: well deserved!
Visitors can view these art cars until 31 August. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience art and engineering in perfect harmony.
