Hupmobile 32 Coupe

In its time it was a competitor of Ford’s Model T, which did not actually have a comparable coupé in its catalogue.

There is no ornamentation to be found on this Hupmobile. The car is simple and straightforward, with no frills.

There is a kind of dome on top providing ventilation, a primitive form of air-conditioning. This model is equipped with electric lighting and an electric starter; these features represented a revolution in automobile technology at the time. It is remarkable that they have been fitted to such a relatively low-priced car.

The Hupmobile was named after its founders, the brothers Robert and Louis Hupp. The make existed from 1908 to 1941.
