The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) winner

The number 7 Toyota TS050 HYBRID won no fewer than four out of eight races in the 2019-2020 World Endurance Championship, giving drivers Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López their drivers’ championship title.

The car never finished lower than third during the entire season. In total the drivers’ team scored 207 points, five more than Toyota’s other TS050 HYBRID.

The TS050 HYBRID set the fastest lap record during the 24-hours of Le Mans race. With Kamui Kobayashi at the wheel the TS050 HYBRID set a lap time record of 3:14.791, almost two seconds faster than the previous record that had been set by Porsche. This is the fastest lap ever set at Circuit de la Sarthe.
